Meghan Seiler To All Instructors

Hi HSP Families! My name is Meghan Seiler and I am thrilled to be a part of the HSP community. I am a Certified K-12 School Counselor. I earned my Master’s in School Counseling at VCU, and my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education at ODU. I have been extremely blessed to have held different roles in Education for the past 20 years. I have been a School Counselor, classroom teacher, ABA Therapist, and a Reading Resource teacher. I have taught in public and private schools; and homeschooled my own daughter some in the past. Working with students to build confidence, character, and self-awareness is my passion! Being a confident learner comes from being a confident kid/teen! My classes are energetic and engaging. I love using creative techniques and activities that focus on developing a mind-body connection and inspire a stronger sense of self.

I am also a mama to two little girls, an old yellow lab, and a cat. My husband and I are nature enthusiasts and animal lovers. We enjoy taking our girls camping in our RV, going to the beach, hiking in the mountains, and going to outdoor music and art festivals.

I am a lifelong learner with a curious soul. Enthusiasm and curiosity continue to inspire me professionally and personally. I am passionate about dance and movement and have been a dancer all my life. I did Riverdance for 10 years, and I am a hula hooper. I taught a hula hooping dance class in Richmond and I still love to dance and hoop to this day. I also enjoy making art out of nature and am drawn to eclectic crafting. I encourage students to have a strong mind-body-brain connection, sense of self, faith, and future vision.  I am looking forward to getting to know and being inspired by my student's individual interests and abilities as well!
