Bethany Stenger To All Instructors

Hello! My name is Bethany Stenger. I am a Navy wife and mom to 3 beautiful children. I am originally from Illinois, but have lived in Virginia Beach for 12 years now. I work as a worship director in Norfolk. ASL became a passion of mine after my daughter was diagnosed as Hard of Hearing. Soon after starting classes, I not only fell in love with the language, but with the Deaf community and culture. In 2022 I began to pursue a career in ASL Interpreting and in 2023, I received my Career Studies Certificate. I am still continuing my education and will be receiving my full degree this Fall 2024.
