Sarah Fernandez To All Instructors
Sarah Fernandez became a Virginia certified teacher in 2005 and is currently homeschooling her four children ages 6 to 12. She earned a B.S. in Child Psychology and Early Elementary Education at Christopher Newport University. She then spent 3 years volunteering in Mexico, teaching English in a Casa Hogar Children’s home. Upon returning to the states, she met her wonderful husband of 15 years in Durham, NC where she also taught first to third grade at a public Montessori Elementary School for two years. Since having children, she has been a homemaker and homeschool mom.
She enjoys teaching the preschool tips class at church. Her hobbies include hiking, backyard chickens and spending time with family and friends.
She is looking forward to working with HSP Preschool students; helping them develop their early literacy and math skills, social skills, listening skills, communication skills, fine motor skills as well as fostering a love for God, others, learning and creative play!
