Donna Kuzio To All Instructors

Donna graduated from the University of North Carolina with a BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. She enjoyed managing several engineering projects stateside and throughout Europe, but she discovered a passion for teaching when she began homeschooling. Both her daughter, Caroline, a NASA engineer working on a PhD in artificial intelligence, and her son, Paul, who is working on his master’s in electrical engineering, were graduates of Homeschool Plus, and occasionally visit classes to teach and inspire. Her youngest son, Daniel, is an enthusiastic assistant in her classes who works with STEM and engineering students who need a bit of extra help. Donna established the engineering program at HSP and has taught over a thousand students in grades K-12. Her classes revolve around engaging hands-on activities supplemented with incentives, contests, encouragement, and fun.
