Homeschool Plus (HSP) is a unique Christian academic center, with many options for enrichment, designed to support students and families with homeschooling needs in the Hampton Roads region. You may choose to sign up for one class or multiple classes. The choice is yours!
- The Academy K-8 - core academics for students on or above grade-level, taught by professionals, twice a week
- High School 9-12 - all the classes needed to earn a diploma, strong academics, graduation program, help for parents navigating the HS process
- Enrichment Classes K-12 - a wide variety of classes that are difficult to teach or better taught in a group such as drama, engineering, art, music, and science
- Brain Bridges - a unique program that provides services to students who learn differently. Licensed therapists provide an integrated approach to help students achieve
The many professionals teach students in small engaging classes. All staff and teachers are Christians and understand the unique concerns of homeschoolers and parents of those students who need additional support.
FAQs
When do classes meet?
Classes meet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays between 9:00 and 3:00 with a few classes/private lessons extending to 4:00. Some classes are Tu/ Th and many one-day-only classes are offered throughout the schedule.
Parents have freedom of choice with how many and what type of classes to enroll in. Some families come for 1 or 2 classes, many families set up one full day, and some families come primarily for Tuesday and Thursday's strong academic support with a couple of fun classes added to the mix.
We have created a lot of flexibility and the widest variety of homeschool classes in Virginia. HSP's design lends itself to support your unique homeschool support needs. Just need Math? Or just need Music? Need strong academic support? You choose and we partner with you.

How many students are in each class?
Most classes have four to twelve students with the exception of Drama and PE. Brain Bridges Therapy is one-to-one.
